Vice Chairwoman VIETNAM NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF TOURISM (VNAT), MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM OF VIETNAM
Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong was appointed as the Vice-Chairwoman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam in 2016, responsible for directing VNAT Of ce and Institute for Tourism Development Research. A tourism industry member since 1991, she has held several important positions in charge of tourism law and regulations, development policies, tourism marketing, and conducted training courses for government officials. Ms. Nguyen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and an Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

In essence, tourism is a key element in the realization of a beautiful life for people – enhancing a quality of life that encompasses comfort, security, and happiness.

At this high-level session, leaders from the private and public sectors will discuss how tourism and leisure lead to a beautiful life, enhancing the lives of both the traveler and the local host community. What are the policies, strategies, and products that are optimizing tourism’s transformative force? How are destinations and companies offering experiences that contribute to a beautiful life? What impact will technology and innovation have? How does culture play a role? And as more people cross international borders every day, how can tourism and leisure continue to fulfill their potential?
